Twas the Night Before Inauguration!

Twas the night before Inauguration, and up in the tower,
The Donald reflected on his newfound power.
The conservative masses had come out in force,
And delivered a victory that would chart a new course.

The snowflakes were shell-shocked with tears in their eyes,
The media lied to them . . . What a surprise.
They had been promised a Hillary win,
But the criminal Clinton took one on the chin.

And though from all corners celebrities flew,
They made no impression, for they hadn’t a clue.
They talked about climate, racism, and such,
And they made up good stories . . . But didn’t know much.

The fake news and ignorance came at a cost,
And they can’t understand all the reasons they lost.
They blame it on Comey and Bernie and Vlad,
But fail to acknowledge the one that was bad.

Yes, Hillary Clinton, in many ways flawed,
Was her own biggest hurdle toward getting the nod.
The campaign exposed her corruptness and greed,
And her speeches were punch-less as ten dollar weed.

So out in the streets there arose such a clatter,
It was Soros-paid protestors and Black Lives Matter.
With cities to pillage and windows to smash,
They knew not the issues, but needed the cash.

Eight years of Obama had given them cause,
To expect a replacement of their Santa Claus.
But soon the protestors will feel the pain,
When the wheels fall off of the old gravy train.

And now all the snowflakes are riddled with fear,
Upset and offended by things that they’ll hear.
The cocoa and crayons will help for a while,
But fact-based opinions will soon cramp their style.

I originally supported, and voted, for Cruz,
In the end, I would vote for whoever they choose.
He wasn’t my first choice, but soon I would cede,
The one they call Trump is the one that we need.

I saw him on TV in front of a crowd,
He spoke about veterans, it made me feel proud.
He spoke about energy, safety, and jobs,
Taking this country back from the Washington snobs.

He was dressed in Armani, all tailored and neat,
And the Brunos he wore made the outfit complete.
For a man of his vintage, he seemed rather fit,
And he looked presidential, I have to admit.

His eyes glowed like embers, his smile was the best,
And his hair was the color of my old hunting vest.
His love for this country was on full display,
And his actions spoke louder than his words could say.

He thanked all his voters, and before he was gone,
Saved thousands of jobs while Obama looked on.
The fate of this country left nothing to chance,
So, he filled out his cabinet weeks in advance.

The men he had chosen were of the same mind,
Let’s set the bar high, and not lead from behind.
He picked up his phone as he rose from his seat,
With a flick of his finger, he sent out this tweet;

“Now Mattis!, now Kelly!’ now Sessions! And Pruitt!
On Perry! On Flynn, You’re the ones who can do it.
Start lifting restrictions and building the wall,
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!”;

The roar of his audience rose from the stands,
He kissed all their babies and shook all their hands.
He answered their questions and calmed all their fears,
They knew it would be a fantastic four years.
Then he jumped in his limo, and off to his jet,
A fellow that Liberals won’t soon forget.
He sent one more tweet as the evening expired;

“Happy Inauguration to all, AND OBAMA – YOU’RE FIRED!”

Kay Hagan has been a rubber stamp for President Obama in the Senate, voting with the President 96 percent of the time.

Kay Hagan was waiting at the airport to warmly welcome President Obama to North Carolina this morning. This comes after Hagan has dodged questions about her support for the President and his terrible policies, like ObamaCare. Hagan was a member of the committee that helped to write the flawed law in 2009, and she has been a continued supporter of ObamaCare — even while the law is leaving North Carolina families without affordable quality health care.

Hagan has been known to literally run away from reporters asking about her lies to North Carolinians – lies like telling North Carolinians that if they liked their health care plan, they could keep it under ObamaCare – and her support for the President’s policies. And now, Hagan is showing her continued support for the President — this time in the Tar Heel State.

Kay Hagan has been a rubber stamp for President Obama in the Senate, voting with the President 96 percent of the time.

She can’t be trusted to stand up for North Carolinians and to fight for what North Carolina needs.

Sign the petition to kick Kay Hagan out of the Senate.

Take Obama to Court

The Washington political class is well aware of what we all know to be certain: that ObamaCare is an unmitigated disaster. The Democrat Members of Congress and staffers who wrote the 1,600 page monstrosity knew it would increase premiums and restrict individual choice. But the last thing President Obama wanted was to have the very Democrat congressmen and senators who passed ObamaCare to revolt on his signature legislation.

So what did he do? Obama directed the Office of Personnel Management to create a special exemption so Members of Congress and their staff could continue to receive federal contributions to their health plans. That’s right: President Obama issued an order to direct taxpayer funds to shield Democrat Members of Congress from the harmful effects of the very law they passed. This is not only wrong — but I also believe it’s illegal. And, worse, it’s indicative of the continued abuse of power and flagrant disregard of the Constitution by this President.

Obama’s taking advantage of me

As a 23-year-old, I am sick and tired of President Obama taking advantage of my generation. In a photo op disguised as a “youth summit” last week, Obama yet again tried to sell ObamaCare to young people. Obama proved that he’s willing to say and do anything to buy our support when he suggested that bartenders host ObamaCare Happy Hours to get people to sign up.

Really, it’s offensive. We’re not naïve… and we’re not buying his sales pitch.

We know that the success of ObamaCare depends on young people like me signing up – and paying more – for health insurance through the exchange. Obama is banking on young Americans to make his prized liberal program work. And that’s why young people are bailing on Obama in droves. It’s time Obama told young Americans the truth about why our premiums are doubling, why we’re losing our doctors, and why we might have to choose between paying for school and paying for health care.

Young Americans deserve to know the truth.

Donate today to help me educate young Americans about Obama’s gimmicks.

GOP’s Remedy for Obamacare Ailments: Elect More Doctors

The Republican Party says it has a remedy for Obamacare program ailments, but it apparently requires the election of more doctors to be administered properly.

No less than 11 GOP physicians are running for the Senate next year “hoping,” according to The Hill, “that voters will see their medical expertise as an asset amid the administration’s botched rollout of Obamacare.”

If elected, they would join three other GOP doctors currently serving in the chamber. Thirteen Republican doctors also currently serve in the House. By comparison, only four Democrats in the House hold medical degrees, including the delegate from the U.S. Virgin Islands, according to the American Medical Association’s Patients’ Action Network.

From Congressman Tom Price, And the lies keep coming

The ObamaCare nightmare just keeps getting worse. We’ve learned more Americans in North Carolina have lost their health coverage due to ObamaCare than were able to sign up for the program nationwide. Obama knew millions would lose their health care under ObamaCare. He admitted it in a meeting in 2010, three weeks before he signed the law. Yet, he and his liberal co-conspirators in Congress continued to lie to the Americans people for more than three of years.

And the lies just keep coming. Just the other day Nancy Pelosi claimed 500,000 people signed up for ObamaCare- five times the actual number. It’s time for Nancy Pelosi and Obama to stop trying to cover up their lies with more lies, and finally admit what Republicans have known all along: ObamaCare is unworkable, unaffordable and unfair.

Sad time in America

GOPIt’s a sad time in America when we can’t trust our president… the man we elected and entrusted to represent our best interests. As a mother and grandmother, this especially troubles me. I know all too well that the foundation of all relationships is honesty, trust and respect. Through President Obama’s repeated lies about ObamaCare, this foundation has been fractured. The trust bond has been broken. Obama’s relationship with you, the American people, has been ruined. The sad truth is: Obama knew all along that this is how his socialized health system was designed to work. I want you to know that your Republican Party is working hard to defeat ObamaCare. We’re committed to repairing the damage done by Obama. And we won’t stop fighting until the job is done.

Join our fight to defeat ObamaCare by defeating Democrats in 2014 – contribute $14.

The stakes couldn’t be higher

NRSCObamacare has been one broken promise after another. The Democrats’ signature law is raising costs, crippling businesses ability to create jobs, and forcing people out of coverage. Even the White House admits this law is turning out to be a disaster. Just last week the White House announced a delay to the employer mandate until after the 2014 midterm elections.

While businesses certainly need relief from Obamacare, what about the millions of Americans who will be unfairly burdened by the individual mandate? If big businesses get a break — middle-class families should too. It’s not right for the Obama administration to pick and choose who gets relief from Obamacare and who doesn’t.

With key provisions delayed until 2015, the stakes couldn’t be higher for the midterm elections. It’s crucial we elect strong conservative leaders who will fight to repeal Obamacare.

Just the other day, Harry Reid claimed “Obamacare is wonderful” — how out of touch is he? It’s time for him to go.

Contribute $100, $50,$25, or whatever you can today to help us take back the Senate and repeal Obamacare.

Sincerely,

Senator Jerry Moran
